Our goal at Atlantic County School of Professional Education is to provide you with high-quality education. To do that, we collect personal information about you. We realize that we have an important responsibility to protect the privacy and security of your nonpublic personal information. We are providing this notice to give you a better understanding of our privacy and security policies and to comply with Title V of the Gramm- Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the laws of the State of New Jersey, .
We may collect the following types of information about you: Information that you or your agent provides to us on applications and other forms, including online (such as name, address, Social Security number, and other contact information). Information about your classes with us and your payments. Information we receive or obtain from other third parties.
The information we collect may be shared, as described below.
In order to provide better and more relevant classes and services to you, we may share the information we collect, as described above among the insurance industry and other financial services providers, including insurance, finance, investment and securities companies. You have the right to instruct us not to share this information within the insurance industry. To “opt out” you must submit a request in writing to the Privacy Coordinator at the end of this policy notice. The request must include your name, address, social security number, and the recorded information that you would like us to not share. However, even if you opt out, we may continue to share information within the insurance industry regarding your transactions and experiences with us or as otherwise permitted or required by law. (See Other Information Sharing below).
From time to time, we may wish to make the information we collect. as described above, available to noninsurance related companies who want to offer products and services to you. We will disclose such information only to organizations who agree to respect your privacy and to use it only for the purposes intended. Organizations that may receive your information include retails, direct marketers or contractors. you have the right to instruct us not to disclose information for this purpose. Again, to “opt out” you must submit a request in writing to the Privacy Coordinator at the end of this policy notice. The request must include your name, address, social security number, and the recorded information that you would like us to not share. However, even if you opt out, we may continue to share information as permitted or required by law. (See Other Information Sharing below.)
Even if you choose to exercise your right to “opt out,” some of the information we collect may still be shared within and outside the insurance industry, as permitted or required by law. For example, we may share your information with local, county, state, or federal law officials. We may also disclose information to persons who perform marketing services on our behalf. We will not share any medical information we may have knowledge of.
New Jersey imposes additions restrictions on our collection and disclosure of nonpublic personal information and also may grant you the right to review, obtain a copy of, or request that we correct certain personal information contained in our files. To request access to your personal information that we recorded about you, you must submit a request in writing to the Privacy Coordinator at the end of this policy notice within 2 years of giving us the information. The request must include your name, address, social security number, and the recorded information that you would like us to tell you about or not share with others. We may charge a reasonable fee to cover our costs. Upon receipt of your request, we will contact you within 30 days to arrange providing you with access to the information requested. If you are requesting a correction to your information, we hall make that correction within 30 days or notify you that we refuse to do so and the reasons for the refusal, which you will have the opportunity to challenge. Please be aware that we do not control the personal information about you obtained form third parties. You will need to contact any third party directly to correct your personal information.
In connection with the potential sale or transfer of its interests, Atlantic County School of Professional Education, LLC reserves the right to sell or transfer your information (including but not limited to your address, name, age, sex, zip code, state and country of residency and other information that you provide through other communications) to a third party entity that 1) concentrates its business in a similar practice or service; 20 agrees to be Atlantic County School of Professional Education’s successor in interest with regard to the maintenance and protection of the information collected; and 3) agrees to the obligations of this privacy statement.
We are committed to the security and confidentiality of your nonpublic personal information. We maintain reasonable physical, procedural and electronic security measures that meet applicable standards. In addition, our security practices include limiting access to this information only to those employees and business associates with appropriate authority and for intended business purposes only.
We typically will retain your personal information for a period of time after the end of a client relationship. In some cases, we may be required to retain information for a certain amount of time by law or by industry standard. We maintain the same standards of privacy after the client relationship has ended as we do for current clients. Please note that if you provide personal information to other educational services providers not affiliated with us, their use of such information may not be governed by this privacy notice. You should review the privacy notice of such third parties to understand how they collect, use and disclose such information.
