Why choose Atlantic County School of Professional Education?
For over 15 years, we’ve been providing professional education to adults throughout the Northfield area. Our smaller class sizes allow for greater collaboration and more one-on-one time with instructors. We’ll also help you network to get a job.
The Atlantic County School of Professional Education provides real estate and insurance professionals with the pre-licensing training programs and CE credits needed to obtain and maintain their licenses. Pre-licensing courses are Monday – Friday and run from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
We have contracts in place with the Atlantic County Workforce Reinvestment Board. Dislocated workers laid off in this economy may be eligible for education grants to attend our school. In addition to training at our facility, we can provide your agency with on-site training for your staff meetings to ensure that your producers are up to speed with the latest information in the insurance industry.

Gerald (Jerry) Long
School instructor
Jerry is a graduate of Richard Stockton College in Pomona, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.
He has been a licensed insurance agent since 1992. Currently, Jerry is an Instructor of Education for the Atlantic County School of Professional Education, as well as an Instructor for the Preliccnsing courses of Life, Health, Title, Property and Casualty, and Real Estate.

Jerry is President of JNE Financial Services; a fee based estate planning design firm. He provides numerous tax and advance planning consulting services to over 1,700 insurance brokers.

Jerry has served as Director of Advanced Markets, Dir. Of Pension Services, and Director of Financial Planning & Investment Services for two major financial services companies. He has completed over 5,000 estate, business, and pension planning cases and conducted over 1,000 professional and client seminars nationally & internationally.
He teaches continuing Professional Education programs for the New Jersey Insurance Dept. He has authored numerous articles published in financial services, trade magazines & periodicals. He has served as Educational Chair for the SJ Chapter of Financial Services Professionals. Jerry also works with government employees & veterans as a benefits consultant performing benefit, and retirement planning services.
